One wordafter another,in good company.
Creative Writers' Alliance Malta is an association for people who write, people who read, and people who are only beginning to suspect they have something to say.

§ Welcome
An alliance, not an academy.
Writing is mostly done alone, but it is rarely improved alone. We bring together writers and readers in Malta to share drafts, ask honest questions, read closely and enjoy the company of others who care about sentences.
Our focus is creative writing, literary development, reading appreciation, writing education and literary community engagement. We say plainly what is running now, what is being planned, and what remains an intention — because trust is the first thing a writing group needs.
Our mission
“To encourage creative writing, reading and storytelling in Malta; to help people at every stage develop their craft; and to nurture a respectful literary community in which work can be shared, discussed and enjoyed.”

§ Why it matters
The value of creative writing
Writing creatively sharpens attention, deepens empathy and gives shape to experience. It is also a way of keeping a place's stories alive — the voices of a village, a family, a language.
Done in community, it becomes something more: a habit of listening carefully to one another. That is the spirit we try to keep at every reading, workshop and conversation.
