IThe Alliance

A fair account

Why the Alliance

There are many ways to become a better writer. Here is what we offer — and, just as plainly, what we don't.

Information

What you can expect

  • A local, community-led association rooted in Malta rather than a distant online platform.
  • A culture of attentive, specific feedback on actual writing.
  • Room for beginners alongside experienced writers.
  • Clear information about what is running, what is planned, and what is not.
  • Free educational material on this website for anyone to use.

What we do not claim

We are not a publisher, a literary agency or an accredited educational institution. We do not promise publication, qualifications or prizes. Our value lies in practice, community and encouragement — which, for most writers, is where progress actually happens.
